Came close, but decided rear projections don't cut it for me and plasma and DLP have a lot of trickling down to do. Overhead projectors too are cost prohibitive.Decided to stick with my XBR 32" for now. Can't justify the expense of an HDTV hard tube when the old XBR looks so good and there is so little HDTV content out there.
And now there's this issue of a JVC supported DVI HDCP interface trying to be adopted. I'm pretty sick of the whole thing at this point. New technologies seem to never be about the consumer, and we're the ones shelling out the big bucks.
