I have a Sony 34 wide HDTV. Although the picture is great, the HDTV offerings here in the Greater Los Angeles area are limited, some might say pathetic. But, when I play dvd's, it's great! but, sure wish I had a DVD that would put out the full resolution the system is capable of using.
