Acurus ACT3 processor vs. ?

I want to upgrade from my Yamaha RXV-2092 for DD/DTS and am looking at the Acurus ACT3 w/ bass management upgrade. Any first hand inmate input /opinion here, or alternative in that price range ($2K new, $1.4K used) would be apprecicated. I also listen to a significant amount of music, so musical qualities are important / albiet a tradeoff vs. high end 2 channel equipment.
