A looong time now tweekers have been using a silicon product to polish the CD surface to get a perceived improvement in sound quality ( I have a case of the $0.25 packets AQ put out years back). I noticed that doin' it to DVD's AND GREEN EDGES TOO, improve the video quality of DVDs. Any one else tried this??? (you really need special fliud and green paint, though UnaPosa? paint pens ARE the original and cost in bulk a tenth of the audio market ones. (you can buy a box special ordered from an Art Supply store for the cost of an audiophile brand).
Anyway, jus' thought I'd pass on this improvement you CAN see!
(makes the image more "film like": less noise)
