I think the green/blue pen on the edge thing is way overraated for CD sound quality. I think it makes many CD's over harsh.
DVD video quality I think maybe is better, and you don't pay quite as much attention to the sound.My system Optimus LX-5's(modified) Harmon Kardon A500k integrated (modified 6V6's) and Denon DCM-560 for sound.
