So, anybody else out there have trouble with their A-310? I bought one 2 years ago and was convinced that there was not a better machine out there. What a great picture. A week after the warranty period expired, so did the unit. Tiling, pixelation, lock-up then 'no disc' displayed. Feeling like I had just got a bad one, I set about to look for another because I really like the picture and sound quality. Came across the AudioReview site and found that virtually everyone who had bought an A-310 had the exact same problem. Wrote Panasonic. No response. Got pissed and wrote the VP of Quality at Matsushita Corporate in Japan via scathing e-mail. 3 voicemails were waiting for me by the time I got home. Their offer to 'evaluate' my problem at my shipping expense was unacceptable. Wrote back to my Japanese connection and received a 'so sorry, all issues in USA dealt with in USA' response. Evidently hundreds of others have experienced the same problem with Panasonic.Question for all you legal types out there.....what if anything can be done at this point that won't cost beau coup in legal fees and hassle for something I have already replaced? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know I should just let it go but it is a matter of principal.
