She went to visit the pro-Palestinian demonstrators at Sproul Plaza, UC Berkeley and offer them succour and support (although no cookies, a la Victoria Nuland at Maidan Square in Kiev!). Fortunately, for some reason, Berkeley has so far not had the problems with savage attacks by police psychopaths on demonstrators, as seen at Columbia, Washington (St. Louis), Emory (Atlanta), Texas, and UCLA. It's the demonstrators at these universities (many of whom are Jewish!) who are sometimes getting their heads busted for nothing more than peaceful assembly and verbal support for the Palestinians. Just ask Jill Stein (in her 70's), who was manhandled by the police at Washington University in St. Louis. Looks like I'll have to vote for her a third time, just like I did in 2012 and 2016.
Anyway, kudos to Ms. CfL for her bravery, even though it turned out not to be needed on the day she visited - it was still a risk, she was still brave, and I'm lucky to have her!
