I completely agree. I also have to say that as much as I like Neeson, Fiennes is few steps ahead of him on the performance side. Did you see the 99' remake of "The end of the affair"? He is simply amazing there - perfect match for Graham Greene's Maurice Bendrix.

Remember the red dress in Schindler´s I was two years ago in Auschwitz,and stand beside tons and tons of shoes...all grayish , the work of the time..and from time to time a red spot..red shoes..Spielberg put THAT in his film..
Will find and see when possible (not possible to see video much anymore, 15-mo. old at home now). Quite disappointed in Fiennes film choices, after S's L. Liam N I like, but only in certain kinds of roles. In "Rob Roy," for instance, he is great. Kind of like an Irish John Wayne, portrays the big, strong, fairly silent kind of guy better than anyone. Emoting ain't his forté, he always looks uncomfortable. And, for some reason, a big guy getting weepy ain't a pretty sight. He was quite powerfully restrained in S's L. But I think he wasn't convincing in that someone that moves, talks, and acts like he does wouldn't be a Schindler. He'd be an underground resister.
