Had a great evening under the stars. Watched Spider man. It was a great film, and one I have to see again. Computer animation was not bad, and there wasn't so much that it seemed monotonous... could have been because I was about 400 yards from the screen. The place was packed!
Follow Ups:
movie, did you?
The almost total demise of the drive-in is a tragedy of American life. I remeber seeing "the Night of the Living Dead" at an outdoor screening. Towards the ending, when lots of us were quite jangled from the continuous frights (I don't know if it was really that scary for its day, or that most viewers were in a "heightened" state of consciousness) a guy with a sense of humor fired up a chainsaw. The dust thrown up from rapidly accelerating cars obscured the screen. I stayed.
