  The whole story concept was always so overwelming to me.

  For some reason, I just couldnt let my psyche go and throw myself into the complicated thing. To me, it required too much work, to pay attention to all of the story detail.

  A film experience based on could only short-change whatever work the author put into it. I would rather try reading the Classics Illustrated version of it...if there was one. Or Cliff Notes.

    Remember the quote from Lord Acton...'Power corrupts ....etc.'

    Watch it again with this line in mind......this is really the whole of Tolkien's point.
