I saw it thank to Mick's rec, and it is indeed a good film. But why am I not surprised? Australian films are like their wines - you can buy them without looking.

Before the DVD started rolling, there was the scene of the main characters dancing. I watched it for few minutes before my wife joined me, and I was struck by the fact that there was more true acting and real drama in that short clip - their faces, body language, emotions... - than in many of today's films.
