Both the original (w/ James Arness of "Gunsmoke" fame as the monster) and the remake (w/ Kurt Russell as the main character)."The Green Slime" is good for a hoot if you get off on oldies with rocket models on strings, etc.

Brilliant film, Cold War paranoia at it's best. The other question is DID Howard Hawks produce AND direct this classic, OR did screen credited director Christian Nyby? Either way 5 stars, Joe Bob says so!
