Women are often told to cower and submit in the face of assault (my favorite is telling women to deliberately soil themselves so as to repulse the attacker…has this ever worked?). Women have every moral right to defend themselves with force, just as much as any man. I say bravo to these films for showing that.

BTW, I was just tickled watching J-Lo taunt her husband with those face slaps....Very male ego deflating.
