All significant films but not, I would say, influential. Them! and On the Beach are very much products of their time (Cold War). Many film buffs, scholars and directors admire Solaris, but no one has really tried to duplicate its pacing and psychological/metaphysical probings...including, I bet, the remake.

I have bad feelings about Soderberg's Solaris, I would love to be wrong.
