Hi, Viktor
It seem youīre almost an expert here.
Lemme tell you the movie is a perfect example of the french cinema from the early 70s. It has a very tough message against death-punishment (I donīt know the right american name for that).
I do recommend it, particularly if you like Delon and Gabin. This man plays an immensurable role as a curator of the first, who is a former convict.
I thought I found it in VHS in an online store, yet I dodnīt buy it.
Follow Ups:
Thank you Marcelo, I wish I really were an expert, but far from it.I do love Gabin a lot, and he played many roles in that general genre. Just to mention a couple: "Touchez pas au grisbi" and "Le Soleil des voyous" - both quite memorable. But finding them here in the US is incredibly difficult. My store that I usually use is one of the better ones in the country, but it still only has a few of his films.
I like Delon less, I think he is a less significant actor, but he was unforgettable in the "Rocco and His Brothers".
