In 1981, Steven Spielberg, contemplating the casting of his upcoming E.T. film project, uses a time machine to travel to 1996. He finds that Drew Barrymore and Erica Eleniak have done nude scenes in films and become bimbo actresses. To give them a small shred of innocent dignity via acting credentials in a children's classic, he hires both of them to be in his film. Dee Wallace-Stone queries Spielberg on his choices, but he tells her he could not save her from the embarassment of her nude role in "The Howling."
