I am not a great fan of Lars at all.

Zentropa was good, Breaking the Waves was less so, and the Dancer I thought was simply horrible.

After seeing the Idiots I had to do some reading on it, but basically I don't like it. I dislike the documentary-style jittery camera - it was probably interesting when it first was done decades ago, but enough of that already!

I simply can't relate to the people in that film, sorry, and the directing was I thought something I have seen many times before.

The hard core porn scenes did irritate my wife somewhat - and she is not some silly prude, mind you - as we thought they were gratuitous.
