that MR has the same percentage of positive reviews as Matchstick Men and 5% less than Freaky Friday, 12% less than Lost In Translation, 12% less than American Splendor, 16% less than Finding Nemo, etc, etc. In fact for current flicks it's barely upper midddle of the road in terms of positive reviews (which after seeing it seems just about right).

Especially since a sizable portion of the "critics" comprising RT's rating are not critics at all - just bozos with a website.
I'm with Clark on this. I didn't read reviews of Mystic River, went to see it, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
