Just bought the DVD. I'll probably watch it after New Year's.
Of course it was made in the last part of the 1960's "Let's Make a Really GREAT film" era. An era that gave us a some really good films and a lot of tedious, pretentious (and sophomoric) merde. So, I will view it with some excitement mixed with some trepidation.

I only hope it holds up. I rather liked it at the time. I'll post my reactions later (with dutiful genuflections to the true denizens of this forum).
