Thanks for that, Patrick. I am similarly no fan of "how it was made" commentary either, as you have said; "a missed opportunity"
I think I will stick with my laser disc copy!

The DVD (either one) is FAR better than the LD transfer.
The special laser disc is gourgeous*! I still have it. But on a big screen...
* That is the only LD I still have
