It IS a wonderful movie, one with the relentless pace only Fellini was capable of creating. He throws you into the whirlpool with the opening scenes, and only lets you out after the last one, and in between you are completely absorbed in that non-stop "non-action".Every time I mention it to Anya she immediately talks about the fashion show - so deeply it is engraved in the memory.
BTW - in some sense it reminds me of parts of Tati's Playtime - another masterpiece.
