Sean should have won the Best Actort Oscar for his performance. Since then, I think he has come down with a case of "Pacino-DeNiro-itis"---lots of yelling, menacing looks, scowling, etc.
21 Grams was better than Mystic River, in every way, including Penn's performance. However, I have to admit that when Penn was outside that park, screaming "Is that my daughter in there?" I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
