There have been a number of Joan films, two great and a couple terrible. This 1999 effort stars Milla Jojovich and also features supporting players John Malkovitch, Faye Dunaway, and Dustin Hoffman. It's an expensive production with many battles and aggressive camera movement but over the long haul it is tiring and confused. Luc Bresson directed his then wife Jojovich.

I agree. Nothing more than ordinary. I got the impression that this film was done largely to expand Jojovich's resume.
