Probably not the same film, but I saw one on one of the High Definition channels, and it was impossible to unglue from the screen.Penguins are the type of the creature you can spend your whole day watching, and the film was well made in addition to... eat your heart out, Jeff!!! - being of course a complete eye candy in that HD glory!
I wrote here once about the segment on one of the Animal Planet program where they show the house pet penguin in Japan.
In the morning the owners put a backpack on the bird and let it out of the door, and it walks all the way to the fish market, where the merchants load his pack with fresh fish he (or she?) then brings home.
The whole town knows the bird, and it is quite a spectacle as it marches dutifully along the streets. I missed it, so my wife told me about it.
Sorry, couldn't miss the chance to rub it in regarding the HD... he-he...

...since leaving Kora, I'm not even hi-fi these days!
Anyway, the director was there at the premier and was obviously very taken with the Emperors.
Someone in the cinema crowd asked if the Emperors had the same intelligence as humans and he replied that that depended - if intelligence meant being adaptable to a hostile environment, then the penguins won hands down!!!!
It really was quite moving...
