Does anyone know if the current dvd release of Oz has the sepia tone colors in the beginning of the movie? The original had that 'brownish' look but it was shown in black and white for many years and was supposedly changed back to sepia in 1989. Didn't know if the current dvd contained the updates to original sepia. Going to make a big batch purchase from videouniverse and this dvd is overdue for my collection.

Hi NuWave.I have the 1999 version that came in the box with the book etc. and yes the fim is in color and true sepia tone.
I'm led to believe there is a new version coming out in May I think with a better transfer, can't remember where I read it though.
