This is the fifth Dirty Harry movie and features music by Lalo Shifrin, who did most of the others. In this one, a madman gets ahold of a list of San Francisco celebreties made up by a film director (Liam Neeson). The list is Neeson's wager on who will die and the madman decides to make it come true by actually killing the people on the list. Clint is of course on the list and has a number of shootouts with various bad guys. There is a very funny car chase involving Clint and his Chinese American partner and a model car filled with explosives, a nod to "Bullitt", which was also filmed in San Francisco. Clint also romances an attractive TV news reporter.
Not as good as the original but better than a couple of the sequels.
Follow Ups:
I liked the film...a young Jim Carrey as the drug od'd rock star is hilarious. I believe the director Buddy van Horn was a stunt man and longtime friend of Eastwood.
