...but bought the DVD later. It's a wonderful morality tale, with Affleck ultimately doing several right things and REALLY getting to his 2 partners/badguys and even his corrupted wife, played by the beautiful Amanda Peet in a small role.
The title is a little twist on the 2 big changes in the movie--Affleck's ethics and Samuel Jackson's bad fortune. William Hurt was very good as Jackson's AA buddy. Hurt is SO correct when he screams at Jackson that Jackson's drug of choice isn't alchohol, it's chaos.
Toni Collette is great as Affleck's colleage and moral anchor.
Follow Ups:
had had an affair with the Affleck character of which Peet was aware. Yes, Peet is ravishing, isn't she?
