The original symphonic score is awesome and exhilerating; I've never been fond of synthesizers and Wurlitzer organ scores; piano is just okay, as long as it isn't tinny sounding. A chamber orchestra is usually excellent and a full symphonic score is the creme d'le creme.I haven't heard the Moroder version, but I'm not fond of rock lyrics being introduced in period films, regardless of how good the music is, and I'm a big-time rock music fan.
At any rate, as much as I hate to admit it, patrick is correct on this; the approach he suggested is probably the best one to take.
