Tommy Lee Jones first film as director is astonishingly good, IMHO.
He (very understatedly) plays modern cowboy Pete Perkins who forceably takes Texan border guard Mike Norton (magnificent performance from Barry Pepper who accidently kills Jones best friend, a Mexican) back to Mexico to bury the body.
Violent in the vein of Peckinpah and crafted like an Eastwood movie, all the supporting roles are phenominally well played.
The script is a gem and leaves an emotional charge long after the film has finished.
Apparently on limited release in the US, I urge you to check this one out.
