As a parent of two young children, I don't get out to see many movies. But somehow I had heard Crash was decent, so I battled my wife to place it on our Netflix list. Saw it, and thought it was horrible! It might have been an interesting film in, say, 1985...but analyzing racism has been done SOOO much more authentically in the last 20 years in both film and TV. Posed and contrived? Absolutely. If this is the best of 2005, I guess I'm not missing much in the theaters...
