You don't usually hear much about Fellini's early works, but they are marvelous, and White Sheik is a completely elegant, light and humorous "little" film. It is impossible not to recommend it to anyone who loves good films, and while lacking the great masterstrokes of the later talent, it is in some sense more accessible and simply delighful, by any standards.
