OK, OK, so some of you remember it by its shortened title: Love and Anarchy. It's been a while since anyone mentioned Lina Wertmuller, and last night we saw this film.
I always loved that director, her sense of humor and the unique outlook on life. Life and Anarchy is a peculiar mix of fun and tragedy, and being set mostly in a Roman whorehouse creates a memorable atmosphere.
Most Wertmuller's films are worth seeing, and if not familiar with her, one might as well start with this work.
