Just watched it last night. Lots of familiar faces, good photography, but there's nothing there.

Follow Ups:
I've formed a differing opinion, I thought everything was there to provide an enjoyable couple of hours. Going in I didn't expect much and I confess to being dissappointed with the liberties that were taken by the filmakers to make a fashionable product. Beyond that and after a second viewing, I simply allowed myself to be wrapped in the atmosphere. At times visually excessive and stagy, still a decent story told with a sentimentality that made it endearing. Obviously impossible, but I wished we could have watched the young actress playing Chiyo grow into Sayuri. As much as I enjoyed ZZ, the camera caught something exceptional in that young girl.
I agree about the young girl-I too thought she was exeptional. Hopefully we'll see more of her in the future.
