One if a series of formulaic movies about aipplane disasters, this one features a host of 70's actors now forgotten (Linda Blair, Helen reddy, Larry Storch, Sid Caesar, etc.). Gloria Swanson plays herself. The 747 they are traveling in is hit head on by a small plane and flight attendant Karen Black has to fly the 747 with radioed instructions from boyfiend pilot Charlton Heston. Eventually Heston is lowered from a jet helicopter to fly the plane himself. George Kennedy, who is in all of these movies, has a very small part here. Lots of fun if you like this sort of thing (I do).
