are many and an inherent part of their "personae:" ridiculous coincidences; many overly dramatic scenes allowing for major emotional expression; neat little morals wrapped up neatly in 2 hours; trite dialogue.
What a breath of relief to view Asian films that have none of these shortcomings.
See "Cure."
Not a cliche´in two hours.
