This is basically a one joke movie but the lead and supporting actors keep it afloat and there are a few funny lines and situations. There are also a couple of references to other films ("The Godfather", "Goodfellas"). Billy Crystal is a psyciatrist who reluctantly agrees to treat mob boss Robert DiNero, who beleives that Crystal is on call 24/7 and frequently sends hos men at odd hours and even during Crystal's wedding to fetch him, much to the chagrin of Crystal's fiancee' Lisa Kudrow. Worth a look. Followed by a dismal sequel.

"Analyze This" would have been better if it had been a multi-joke film, i.e, "Analyze These". As for the remake, I didn't even bother, as 'over-anal-ysis leads to paralysis', i.e., too much probing can lead to a bunch of crap. ~AH
