Narration? I don't recall any in The Passion. Some dialogue? Wouldn't that extend to a few other movies?
Visual imagry? I noticed Superman strike a crucified pose once.
Follow Ups:
I meant the things Brando said, which were repeated later in the movie by Superman. Plus, the brutal beating, his "death", then the resurrection.
...the stock in trade of mythology and the hero's journey as far back as human records can take us. That's one thing that made the Christ story so universal when it started to disseminate. So that alone doesn't amount to a proof of anything. On the other hand the mere presence of Christ imagery doesn't lead to any single necessary conclusion. It could be some sort of subtle argument for the truth of Christianity or it could be a means to suggest that people are always on the lookout for a savior and that the appearance of a Superman-like figure would cause him to be seen by others as a savior.
I think one has to look deeper for anything pointing in a specific interpretive direction. Maybe it's just there for people to make of it what they want.
When I see the film I'll post if I have any ideas about all of this.
