By sheer coincidence I watched "The Verdict" with my son and his family Thursday night when we didn't know he had died.

His roles in The Verdict , Being There, Heaven Can Wait , Shampoo & The Lonely (The Twilight Zone) are among my personal favorites.

  a pathetic cuckold. Jack's art made the character sympathetic, intelligent, and almost tragic.
