Andy Garcia plays a cop who is a widower with a nine year old son dying of leukemia. Using computer files he's not supposed to have access to, he discovers that convicted killer Michael Keaton is the only one with compatible bone marrow for a transplant for the boy. Keaton is much feared; like Hannibal he is in solitary confinement and has to be handcuffed and chained when anyone is near him. He initially refuses Garcioa's request to participate in a bone marrow transfer but after he meets the boy he agrees to it. During the procedure he cleverly manages to escape and puts the entire hospital/jail com[lex into chaos. Extremely well done and very exciting throughout. recommended.
