The only similarity between "Descent" and "Alien" was that our heroes were played by women.

After a moment of character development and some claustrophobia - "Descent" turned into a gross fest where thumbs pushed in eyeballs, characters drowned in blood pools while necks were cracked and skulls were broken.

The only real scares were digital shrieks that rivaled NYC subway trains.
