Did I mentione that it was slow?As a Bukowski fan I felt I had to see it and I thought everyone did a good job. I was surprised that Matt Dillon pulled it off as well as he did but I felt he really embodied something about Bukowski... something about charisma/confidence; and about having that even while struggling just to survive.
I mostly appreciated the director's handling of the movie as he was portraying a life in which for long stretches nothing was really happening but he went too far in my opinion and made me wish for it to end.

Follow Ups:
i listened some clips on radio, and it didn't sound good to me. It was more like reading for Book on CD. Did you like "Born into this?"
I mean in regards to CB it doesn't get any better but based on seeing him so much in that I thought Matt Dillon did a good job of being him... and I didn't expect him to.
