I find that if I concentrate on Shakespeare's language it gets harder nto understand, but if I let it flow over me, I can follow the "sense" quite easily and enjoy it much more.
The film uses the play more or less intact. In truth I am guessing at that, but it certainly sounds like it.
I think the comparison betweenthe royal courts and criminal gangs is at least an interesting one and the similarities between major criminals and rock stars in so far as they feel themselves omnipotent over their "kingdoms" ia entirely believable.
Whilst lady Macbeth isas seductive as can be, the 3 witches move from schoolgirls to... well, you'll just have to see the film.
Oh, keep an eye out for how the "Birnam wod comes to Dunsinane" thing is included...
