  It's very tough to master a 5.1 Soundtrack from mono, and the market for the original terminator is far smaller than for t2. I personally feel that t1 was the better FILM though a worse MOVIE if you get my meaning. Heres hoping we get a 5.1 Version soon.

  Original Terminator was not even stereo, let alone 5.1.

  That's why it's mono. Can't squeeze blood from a rock.
