Good film-Danny Aiello is wonderful, as always, and I thought the numerous subplots were skillfully juggled. Loved the scene in which the snob art dealer gets his comeuppance from the waitress/artist.This one didn't make me quite as hungry as Big Night-I think I'd choose the more traditional Italian cuisine championed by Aiello's character than the exotic stuff created by the celebrity chef son.

I. too, enjoyed this and agree with your comments. Though some might feel that the way all the sub plots are resolved at the end is a little too contrived and neat I went along with it and just enjoyed the film, particularly the kitchen sequences. The editing here is superb.
