I find this type of acting and mega-personality nowadays abhorrent because it seems so dated.

I've never been a Bogie fan....and Lord knows I have NO idea what Lauren Bacall saw in him..When I saw Sabrina for the first time...I thought how could a beautiful girl like Audrey give up William Holden (they became lovers as a result of the movie) for this dolt....That's why the remake of Sabrina worked a little better for me as I could understand the possiblity that she would go for the Harrison Ford character...
