Perhaps a self-indulgent display of creative genius en masse.

Whatever this film is supposed to be it's waay over my noodle. I'll buy the atmospheric soundtrack and remember the all the lovely space shots and falling snow . . even the lovely Rachael but I won't be able to decide if it was the story of survival for a history-prolonged love affair or separate stories spun from the present and the novel being written.

SFX were quite beautiful but the coherence was too much of a struggle to assimilate.
