That's what my stepdaughter told me when she forced me to sit down and watch this film: "What 'The Graduate' and 'Easy Rider' are to the Sixties and 'The Godfather' and 'Cabaret' are to the early Seventies, THIS is the film of my generation!"Two hours later I looked at her and said, "You actually need to see some of those earlier 'films of a generation' like 'The Godfather' or 'The Graduate' before you compare them to something like this!!"
As tinear said, the only way this film has meaning is if you watch it with a young babe who says, "Isn't it great! It's the film of my generation!" and you smile and laugh with her and say, "Boy, it sure is! What meaning! Let's go back to my place and talk about it some more!"

You were right to say what you did.My daughter, when she was around 12, claimed Michael Jackson was their generation's Mozart. She is smarter now.
