Produced in 1954 for TV, it is the first story ever filmed after a Ian Fleming novel.
The Americanised " Jimmy " Bond is of course a bitter pill to shallow, Peter Lorre as " Le Chiffre " makes a relative good figure, but who wonder there?
The story is following the novel relatively closely, and its sadism, I was surprised at it for a US TV film.

But this little film, one hour, stand on its own and for a Bond fan more than a curiosity.
