I think they should pack the front rows with stars of today and *yesteryear*. Acknowledging their own history shows a bit of class and sensitivity. Besides that - it's fun ! And what about sexy ol' Hellen Mirran?Sure - the Oscars are a commercial for the Hollywood industry but despite that ....
Overall - I thought the skits, the dancing, Al Gore and Ellen D. were excellent.
Personally I miss the "old days" when chaos and unpredictability was possible and personal expression more present but I still thought there were subtle and not so subtle political messages that I respected and entertainment galore.
In my opinion - A good show !
