Mr. Hulot's Holiday. I actually laughed out loud. Charming nostalgia type visual comedy. Mon Oncle, another Tati flic, was good, but I like Hulot better.I am a fugitive from a chain gang. Excellent film. Car chases, they did em back in the thirties, too.
Solaris, Tarkovski version. Great film. Probably the best of the lot.
Adam's Rib. Great stars, dialog ok. Somewhat dated though.
Not from Netflix, just saw the outtakes of Monterey Pop. I love this concert. Better than Jazz on a Summer's Day and that's saying some. Also waiting to view Cavett interviewing Rock stars and Murder My Sweet.
Follow Ups:
I've finished the first 6. This has been eating up the better part of the last month. Prior to this, the only Kieslowski I had seen was one of the Colors Triology (Red, I think).Bleak, uneven, but ultimately rewarding. Thankfully, my GF is Polish and can help with some of the translations and finer points of Polish culture (she is the one who put it in our que).
